Product Destruction

Secure!

Safe!

Sure!

At NeuPac our number one priorities are SECURITY, COST CONTAINMENT and ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE destruction. Our processes are the safest, most secure methods for disposal of intellectual property and equipment. The destruction process is carried out in enclosed, alarmed facilities, strategically located throughout North America , Asia Pacific, and Europe. A complete,intact, product never leaves our facilities. All of the components are processed for recycling before being shipped for further pulping, grinding, or refining.

All types of Magnetic Media are disassembled and the components recycled.

All CDs are cut or ground to render the intellectual property on them completely unusable. The polycarbonate base material is recycled to make new plastic items.

Hardware, accessory, and peripheral items are dismantled and the components recycled. Manuals have their spines removed and the paper prepped for recycling. The outer sleeves and cartons are baled for recycling. Even incoming pallets are recycled through our pallet rebuilding program.

In addition to our dekitting and disassembly processes,
NeuPac offers other low cost alternatives to landfill disposal for bulk disposal needs.

The Environment

Eco-Sure Destruction!

In addition to security, we at NeuPac appreciate your environmental concerns. Over the years, NeuPac has learned how to remove and destroy obsolete product with much less impact on the planet.

  • Over 99%, by weight, of the material destroyed is diverted from landfills and recycled.
  • In 2007,we anticipate that our processes will divert some 26,000 tons of technology products away from landfills, and will;
  • Save an estimated 425,000 trees, 131 million gallons of manufacturing water, and 67 million kilowatt-hours of manufacturing electricity.

Software, peripherals, and accessories are reduced to their paper, plastic, metal, and glass components assuring complete destruction. Items such as mice, keyboards, modems, circuit boards, and laser and ink cartridges are all recycled to close the loop. Medical devices are disassembled and the contents recycled.

An additional, no-cost service to our clients - Regular reports of our client's recycling efforts, for use with AB939 compliance or other governmental/corporate goals are available on request.
